RTA is an acronym for Ready To Assemble. RTA cabinets are flat packed, saving space and shipping costs. You can assemble and install them yourself with a basic toolkit. Alternatively, you can purchase Pre-Assembled cabinets, which are assembled by the manufacturer at their factory, and are ready to install as soon as they are unboxed.

Each RTA cabinet usually takes between 20-25 minutes to assemble.

We do recommend ordering a sample door before you order the full kitchen. It's a great way to see the quality of our cabinets. Also, the stains and paint can look different on your screen then in real life in your kitchen with your lighting.

Yes! When you buy any cabinets from us, we will refund the entire door sample cost (put in the discount code FREESAMPLE) and you get to keep them; no need to send the samples back to us.

There is a 25% restocking fee for all canceled and returned items. If the order has not been processed by the manufacturer and therefore they do not charge us a restocking fee, then we will not charge you either. The time frame to request a return is 7 business days from when the cabinets were received. Any returns must be unopened and in the original packaging. Unfortunately, when returning cabinets, shipping is the customer’s responsibility.

If you have ordered unassembled cabinets, it will take just a week or two to ship them to you. If you have ordered assembled cabinets, it will take three to four weeks for orders to ship.

Our cabinets ship with a common carrier, who will contact you in advance to set up a delivery appointment. All deliveries are curbside delivery only. We will send you a tracking update 1 business day after the cabinets ship out.

Our offices are located in NJ, but our products ship out of various locations because our customers are nationwide. We do not have a showroom - our website is our showroom! We eliminate showroom costs and pass on the savings to you.

Please note any visible damage or missing items on the delivery slip before signing it. Then, please let your rep at ReadyToAssembleKitchenCabinets know about the damage within 7 business days of receiving the cabinets. Please do not assemble or install any damaged cabinet, the manufacturer will not replace it if it was assembled or installed.

Yes, some cabinets have a 5 year manufacturer warranty and some have a 1 year manufacturer warranty. Please see our product page for more details.

Unfortunately not, we only sell complete cabinets.

Yes, the outside side panels of our cabinets are finished, so you don’t need an extra skin unless you want decorative doors. The backs of our cabinets aren’t finished so if you are creating an island or peninsula you will need to get a 1/4" panel for the back with outside corner molding for the corners.
